Then and now.
The image on the left is from the D’eath postcard collection and shows the old quarrymen’s cottages which used to be where the Village Club carpark is today. The image on the right shows Dover’s Lane as it is today.

A baby sheep (lamb) stood on green grass looking right at the camera.
3 baby sheep (lambs) feed from a bucket in a field.
A small Dunnock hops around on moss and leaves eating.
A buzzard flies overhead wings stretched out full and belly and tail showing.
More nature adventures locally. Spring has sprung. Lots of lambs about, a few little Dunnocks eating and the Buzzard is back.

Bathford Floods - Nov 2024
Water level is currently at 4.09m - our highest was 4.26 back in Dec 2013. Water level is still rising so who knows how much more we’ll get.
I don’t think we’ll be leaving the village for a few days 😳🫣
