There’s just something about taking such a dark, dramatic character and reshaping him as a Minifig that works, paradoxically. Lego Batman has had his own movie and several video games, but the newly announced Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight promises to be a bit different. The game will get into Batman’s origin and show how Lego Bruce Wayne decided to dress as a bat to fight crime. It takes inspiration from just about everything, recreating famous scenes from every Batman movie: from the trailer below we see Batman chasing the Penguin (from The Batman), Bane antagonizing Bats with speeches about darkness (from Dark Knight Rises), and Joker asking him “Why so serious?” (from The Dark Knight).
