Using the small dock as a leading line. Enjoyed the colors and the mirror surface of the marsh water. A little dappled sunlight adds warmth to the “secret garden” vibe.
This one steps forward and opens up the foreground. The largely horizontal tree limbs (of different colors) provide tangled intimacy. Again, I really like the mirror surface of the water and the bold greens, blues, and white — especially as they get pulled into the interior space. These were taken in the Altamaha Wildlife Management Area, on Butler Island.
In the midst of the dreadful chaos here in the US (sorry about that nos-US friends), I am posting a couple of photos from a recent birding excursion.
The birding was pretty meh, but getting out was good.
