🧵 BTZ - the text was then cropped and rearranged so it fit on the body. these layers were multiplied onto the body layer. you can see what they look like with mulitiplication turned off.

🧵 BTZ - normally i would use a font but no font really suited my purposes. i ended up fingerpainting grape drink mix on a sheet of paper. then quantized to black and white before coloring.

Tools for my zine making progress. A magnetic cutting mat and ruler (these have been my most recent game changers!) Pen or pencil for marking, scalpel and blades for cutting. Clips to hold paper in place. Thread to bind. An awl to punch holes. A folding bone to create clean folds. My printed pages (duh) and some snacks (important!)

And these are the tools I used for my „fancier“ Zine!

Some aren’t mandatory like an Awl or a folding bone but might make your life much easier!
Also this is for fancier thread binding. A brochure stapler also does the job. Or some also do no binding at all!
