#Avalanche blasting along the #Berglake #trail in Mt Robson Park. Managed to catch some blasting in early May, heard the thoomp and sprinted out of the tree line as fast as I could to track down the fallout. Taken at the Whitehorn campground looking across the valley.

Even from the other side of the lake, the muddy plume can be seen intruding into the blue waters of Kinney lake. Whitehorn Mountain can be seen behind.

Steep dropoffs in water depth can be seen along the shallower end of Kinney Lake, creating fingerlike reaches into the beautiful blue.
