To mark #BermudaHeritageMonth, the Coney & Turtle classes visited #VerdmontHouse, a preserved 18th-century home on the African Diaspora Heritage Trail. They explored antique-filled rooms & gardens while learning about our roots & history. #SomersfieldAcademy #Montessori #BermudaNationalTrust

#SomersfieldAcademy #Rotary #Interact students partnered with the #BermudaNationalTrust to continue their work on the nature reserve next door. They removed trash and cleared dead cedars (which will be repurposed). #SACoCurricularProgramme

The #SomersfieldAcademy #Rotary #Interact team worked with the #BermudaNationalTrust last Friday to pick up 1134 pounds of waste in the nature reserve adjacent to the school: there were 4 bicycles, 1 microwave, 1 scary teddy bear, 610lbs of bottles, plastic, clothing, and domestic waste.
