Actors were employed to be stand ins for #BertNewton, #BryanBrown and other stars like comedy character #NormanGunston, and all our #TheNewsreader characters had their Logies finery put together by #GypsyTaylor and #JohnLogue, and their costuming, hair and makeup teams.

Permission was sought to use footage of stars within the show, which #MichaelLucas obtained through writing letters to them or their next of kin, especially in the case of host #BertNewton, who died in 2021. His wife, Patti, agreed to his footage being used.
