Recently found the song that was used in the first demo level in #ProjectArrhythmia 1.0.0, so with this knowledge I decided to do a remake of the level in #BetterLegacy.

Was trying to implement a level recorder / video exporter (for anim difficulty) to the #BetterLegacy mod for the Legacy branch of #ProjectArrhythmia, the furthest I've gotten is actually running the ffmpeg program but after that it doesn't do anything. Any ideas on what might be happening #gamedev?

After a long time, there's a brand new effect: Shockwave!
This works similarly to the Shockwave effect in Geometry Dash.
(fun fact this is actually the first effect in BetterLegacy since the glitch effects were in the older mods)

Just spent the past few days working on these features for #ProjectArrhythmia #BetterLegacy (now in 1.8.4)
- actorFrameTexture modifier that allows you to capture any area and apply it to the object as a texture
- setImage modifiers now apply a texture to the object
- Objects now have color blending

In the #BetterLegacy mod for #ProjectArrhythmia, you can create navigate-able levels, alongside rooms that can be culled out when the player is not near.
Also, each room is a singular prefab with different modifier settings on each of them.

Decided to port the Prefab preview feature from the modern #ProjectArrhythmia editor to the #BetterLegacy mod. However, it works a little different here.
In this version, you can set a custom icon via a JPG or use the new capture area feature.

Background Objects are now better to use than ever before in the #BetterLegacy mod 1.7.0 update. I always liked the uniqueness of these things from old #ProjectArrhythmia so it was about time I improve them.
- Spawn / despawn control
- BG Timeline objects
- BGs in prefabs

The editor timeline has been expanded in the 1.7.0 update of the #BetterLegacy mod for #ProjectArrhythmia (Legacy branch)
