Catford #parkrun was quicker, drier & a lot easier than expected given the last bits of the #BigHalf were still in my quads. First in the best outfit award & 2nd in age group. Lots of jumping, hopping & silliness with a 2 year old afterwards. Funnel arrangement before. #GreenRunners #RunningPunks

Delighted to finish my first half-marathon today, #running in the #BigHalf raising funds for @thefelixproject.bsky.social. It was quite a warm day for it, which was particularly felt in the Limehouse Link tunnel 🥵. Fortunately plenty of water stations on the route.

Catford #parkrun 312 saw 284 finishers - numbers swelled a bit by those in London for the #BigHalf - good luck to everyone running it tomorrow. There were 39 fabulous volunteers including 11 pacers, there were 43 PBs - the two are no doubt linked.

Despite legs & body that were so tired yesterday that I got the bus home half way through a 3k run, I managed my quickest #parkrun for 3 months. Running with a friend for a lap who was incorporating #parkrun into a #BigHalf training run probably helped - thank you Brian! #GreenRunners #RunningPunks

I wasn’t going to run today & if I did run it should have been easy paced after the #BigHalf, but I was very hyper this morning. In between rain I headed to Sutcliffe Park and did a set of 700 metre intervals at 5k pace with an overall rate of 2.54 smiles per mile. On the 🎧 #TheBeths #RunningPunks
I love running the Big Half - it’s a real London race, so many familiar faces. The heat meant it was one to have a time, rather going for a time. I danced, high-fived, posed for photos - it was brilliant! #BigHalf #WeRunAsOne #RunningPunks
