Mark's skull illusion scarf by Cathy Munoz on Ravelry. Yarn is Cascade 220 in black and grey. Part of a scarf on a blocking mat with stripes of black and grey, each stripe 2 toes thick. Some points seem to be off, but it's unclear and mostly looks like a striped scarf.

The same scarf, now with oblique lighting. Skulls appear in ghostly grey along the length of the scarf.

Small Street Shawl by Noma Ndlovu (BiggerThanLife) on Ravelry. Cashmere / merino blend from 2025 Coraline advent from YarnBaby. A multicolored scarf with 24 Vs pointing in one direction. The fabric has an attractive puckered appearance due to changing needle sizes and sharp increases and decreases in each stripe. There are prominent bright red and yellow stripes, but the scarf is dominated by blues and purples, both variegated and tonals with colors smoothly transitioning from one stripe to the next.

Almost missed #showmeyourknits of the week for striping. Two projects finished in December and January.
