It was a quick ride from here to there and back again, there being Fish Camp County Park. It was probably the fastest 45 mile ride I've had. #BikeMadison #Madison dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/09/ride...
I'm not one of those guys who could do an Ironman competition, however, I am one who enjoys taking pictures of the passing bicycles and cyclists. Here's a few of those athletes. #IronmanWI #BikeMadison dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/09/the-...
There were a lot of people on bikes around Madison this weekend, but many of them were competing in one of two Ironman races. On ride 25, I knew I was more of a not-so-iron man. #BikeMadison #Ironman dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/09/ride...
For my latest ride I had a plan when I left home but ended up doing a different ride when the first one didn't look like the right fit. On second thought, it was just fine. #BikeMadison #Biking dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/08/ride...
It was a rainy and stormy weekend which reduced the chance for a ride unless I could find a window. It turned out to be open enough to get in a 60-mile trip. #BikeMadison #Biking dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/08/ride...
The weekend ride took me all around Madison with some variations that added a couple extra miles. Most of it was along bike paths and all of it was spent sitting on a new cushion. #BikeMadison #Biking dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/08/ride...
The 16th ride of the season was a warm-up for next weekend that felt like was drawing a box over Madison. Next up is RAW. #RAW #BikeMadison #WIBikeFed dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/07/ride...
At 5am I was on the bike headed to Waunakee; it wasn't a race against anyone, it was about beating the heat. #BikeWI #BikeMadison #Biking dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/06/ride...
The latest ride started cool and warmed a bit but there was no shaking the persistent wind which seemed to come from all directions. #BikeMadison #BikeWisconsin dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/05/ride...
There is a welcome addition to Madison's bike trails - the North Mendota Trail provides a safer alternative to riding on County Highway M between Co. K and 113. #BikeMadison #Biking #Madison dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/04/ride...
It was my first ride this year in Wisconsin, a trip around town and then around a lake to get miles in and the first look at some parts of the area I've not seen for 5 months. #BikeMadison #Biking dwmossner.blogspot.com/2025/04/ride...
Now that's how all major pedestrian/bike crossing should cross streets and traffic calm a street. At level crossings!
I remember when it was a huge dip down to street level and traffic was two-way. A great improvement!
