Pedestrians are getting struck by automobiles 3x a week in Saint Paul. It is showcase of how the city needs to place greater focus on spending available funds on its bike/pedestrian infrastructure.
The plans exist. The funds exist. The desire exists.

The bike ride home from school dropoff this morning was a really neat example of how riding bikes for transportation can help foster social connections.
Not only is this DEEEELIGHTFUL, it's also a great reminder of how biking makes people more civically engaged.
Borrow a shared resource. Run into a friend. Attend a local event WITHOUT making it harder to attend for those who need to drive.
