Wednesday's #gamedev talk & drink pushed me into making me an itch.io page ... And preparing one for #BilouSchoolRush. Which might become the first ever #nintendods game on the platform. Does it looks like a nice page to you ? Any tip ?

My proudest achievement on the #NintendoDS is the platformer #BilouSchoolRush that has been under development between 2013 and 2018. Mostly because I got feedback from real #gamedev people like Romain Claude, Eric Zmiro and Philippe Dessoly

Back in 2020, following suggestion by @caseportman.dev , I described #BilouSchoolRush as #DonkeyKongCountry-like running (hopefully) in a #Zool -like world. Hopefully with #SMW -like moves.

Hop, Grab the sponge, follow the balancing move, jump of, bounce over a pencil-soldat, bounce agai... oops. missed. That was the ink pool. Quick! hop out. Jump over that second penci- oops. Missed again. Aah now he's chasing you! rush! jump over the ink! there. In the inkpot. Let it throw you up and get that glowing blue ball to recover one hit point.
And of course, there was #BilouSchoolRush, my latest completed #platformer game. Expect 30' gameplay once you've mastered mechanics... Maybe you can beat it in 15' with #speedrun training.
