Our lab frequently used BioRender to aid our grant submissions and publications—simplifying complex mechanisms of tumor evolution into beautiful schematics! Here is an example in one of our winning grants. #BioRenderForGrants

Threw my hat in the ring for the BioRender Scientific Illustration Contest
When your research lives at the edge of geology, microbiology, and medicine, a clear figure can make the difference between “???” and “funded.”
Wish me luck, fellow science gremlins.

Applying for the @BioRender Grant Support Initiative to secure free premium access for all the grad students in the the School of Environmental Studies🤞
This would be a game-changer for our students' posters, papers, and presentations.

📸🐾 Mange on the Move?
Coyotes and black bears are both hosts for sarcoptic mange — but could coyotes be passing it along to bears?
Using camera traps and innovative modeling, we’re trying to uncover how these two species might be connected

🐻 Sarcoptic mange is spreading in black bears across the eastern US, but why some bears suffer severe disease while others don’t is still a mystery.
Our new @BioRender figure makes the MHC gene connection clear — helping us secure more funding to protect bear populations.

Just submitted my application and working model for my NIH F31 for #BioRenderForGrants! This model has implications not only in alcohol research, but also in various other fields. If we can force cells to “reroute” to a different metabolic pathway, we may be able to restore effector function.
