House finch with red head merrily dancing on a dandelion gone to seed
The house finches are out in the yard. One just landed on a dandelion gone to seed and rode the bend of the stem with grace to the ground. That’s the kind of day I wish for all of us:

I was finally able to catch on camera this shy little bird. It is a "Bergeronnette grise" (in french) aka White wagtail (Motacilla alba).
