Really tricky photographing this Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) in low sun in the Lye Valley a couple of days ago, since whenever it came into the open, it chose a background almost exactly the same colour as itself!

On Aqaba South Beach, the few trees - date palms, acacias etc - are heaving with warblers and other migrants. Here is a Central Asian Mountain Lesser Whitethroat (Sylvia curruca althaea), Blackcap & a delightful Bluethroat. Also a couple of House Crows.
