From undergrad thru the beginning of grad school, I used to compete in Latin ballroom dance on the collegiate and amateur circuit. Partly why I chose NYU for grad school, to be closer to dance action.

After taking Ling101, became enamored w/ language in brain. Next work-study job was in psycholinguistics lab focused on reading 📚
Later its lab manager, this was the most formative time for me as a scientist 👨🏾🔬 /end
