Streetartwall. A funny 3D mural of a giant squirrel was sprayed/painted on an old concrete street wall. The head of a man-sized squirrel peeks out of a (painted) tree hole in search of food. The artist stands in front of the wall and holds a hazelnut (made of cardboard) towards the squirrel, probably out of fear of being eaten himself. Nice effect on what used to be a really ugly concrete wall.

Streetartwall. In an abandoned factory in France, a super cute mural of a Christmas Gremlin has been spray painted/painted in 3D. A square, half-height room (probably an office) is built into a corner of the factory building. The artist has "conjured up" a blue, open wooden treasure chest from which a fluffy creature with long ears and big eyes peers out. It has white and brown fur, a Santa hat on its head and a sad puppy dog look. With one paw on the edge, it probably wants to be let out. Info: Gremlins is a 1984 American horror comedy about a young man who keeps a pet mogwai, a small furry imp that, when mistreated, spawns creatures that turn into aggressive monsters and wreak havoc in the city.

Streetartwall. A monumental 120 m² mural has been sprayed/painted on the outside wall of a multi-storey modern building. The mural is designed in a naive comic painting style and shows a small brown-haired boy in an olive green anorak and backpack in front of a bright sunrise. He is looking up at an orange/red sky in which birds are flying on the right and some parachutists can be seen on the left. A modern long tower completes the mural. (In the photo, the artist is standing in front of his wall.) Info: On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings in June 1944, the painting pays tribute to the civilian victims and the resilience of the entire population in an intergenerational form.
