First page of a comic where a half zandalari, half blood troll man named Xeh’kah shows a Farraki woman named Fay’li some pretty stones he brought her. He shows her a smoky quartz point, and says it’s like her tusks. Then he holds up a chunk of tiger’s eye, and says it looks like her hair. Then he tells her the last stone he has is his favorite one.
The second page of the comic. Xeh’kah presents a cluster of amethyst, and tells Fay’li that it’s the same color as her eyes. He tells her to take it, hold it to the light, and see how beautiful it is. Fay’li reaches for the crystal, hesitates, then reaches past it to grab Xeh’kah’s shoulder. Xeh’kah, confused, begins to ask Fay’li if she’s alright, but is cut off by her pulling him into a big hug.
I had planned to clean this up more and maybe shade it, but I’ve lost the will to keep working on it. It’s still sweet, though.
