The people who work in the farms and fields are integral to an economy.
It was the same here after #BloodyBrexit - you need labourers to harvest and process your food or it will rot in the fields. The majority of field workers are migrants.

I am currently participating in that most British of activities - joining a queue. This time it's to apply for my German visa. A colleague warned me it will likely take about four hours to get through the process, once I finally get through the doors. Joy.
