🌏 Blue-and-white flycatcher (Cyanoptila cyanomelana) The blue-and-white flycatcher, also known as the Japanese flycatcher, is a striking migratory songbird in the Old World flycatcher family. Males boast glossy ultramarine blue upperparts and white underparts, often with black lores and throat. Females are duller, typically brownish-grey with a rufous tinge. They are widely distributed across East Asia, breeding in temperate forests and wintering in Southeast Asia. This species is generally solitary, foraging for insects in the mid-canopy and undergrowth, often making sallies from a perch to catch prey in flight. 2.5 Flash (Edited) Two subspecies are recognised. 都会ではわざわざ桜の枝にミルワームを置いて桜とオオルリを撮影したりしてるらしい…
老害バーダーが桜に餌を設置する姿を想像したら笑えてくる😆
自然観察なんだから、自然な姿だけ撮れればいいよね🐦
ちょっと愚痴ってしまいましたが、残り僅かな桜がオオルリの背景色になってくれたので見てください🌸
