Touch upon this in the Stories post above but the war to own the biggest screen in the house is slowly heating up:
YouTube doing movies, Disney launching its own version of Netflix. This is interesting but not here yet.
Eyes on 2020.

Snapchat is doing OK. Losing users but making money. It does well in the US but is it worth investing in outside of that market? I'm not so sure.
Tiktok is too new to make an informed decision on. Could be massive. Could be Vine.

It’s a long way off, Amazon hasn’t cracked it and Google hasn’t either.
The advent of screen-based home assistants, this area MIGHT start to move this forward at some point. But that’s 2020 at the earliest.
In short: sack it off.

Once Facebook survives its latest PR crisis (evergreen tweet), it’ll refocus on its Messenger apps and launch mobile payments not too dissimilar to what we’re currently seeing on WeChat – but this time for WhatsApp.

A long bet on this being the start of a five-year macro trend (at least), a debunking of general voice predictions, and an open goal that everyone seems to be missing.
