Official statement adopted by the musicians of the Boston Symphony: We, the musicians of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, support our beloved Music Director Andris Nelsons. We strongly oppose the decision by the Board of Trustees to end the appointment of Maestro Nelsons. The musicians believe in Andris's vision for the future.

Anyone heard about the coup at the #BostonSymphony on Friday? Completely against the wishes of the musicians the Board and Administration fired our music director FOR NO REASON. He is a moral, kind, generous, lovely human, and a fucking fantastic conductor and musician.
