Apple TV on Tuesday revealed a first look at the second season of the acclaimed sci-fi series “Dark Matter,” which is set to make its global debut on Friday, August 28. Based on the blockbuster book by New York Times bestselling author Blake Crouch and starring an ensemble cast led by Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton alongside Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley, and Amanda Brugel, the 10-episode season will premiere on Apple TV with the first episode on August 28, followed by one new episode every Friday through October 30, 2026. Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels and celebrating the 10th anniversary of its release this year, “Dark Matter” is a story about the road not taken. In season one, the series followed Jason Dessen (Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. Season two picks up with the Dessens as they settle into a quiet life in a world that finally seems safe until the unimaginable forces them to run once again. As Jason’s obsession with the Box deepens, Daniela’s (Connelly) growing paranoia pushes her to the brink, threatening to tear their fragile stability apart. Elsewhere, Amanda (Braga) and Ryan (Simpson) join forces in a desperate attempt to find their way home. With Blair (Brugel) determined to stop him, Leighton (Okeniyi) relentlessly chases his grand vision of creating a perfect world. “Dark Matter” is produced for Apple TV by Sony Pictures Television. "Acabou" a Semana Santa de Braga 2026. E ficamos com dois sentimentos. Orgulho! Porque a Sé Catedral de Braga foi, mais uma vez, o coração religioso do país. Todos os canais de televisão estiveram cá. O país inteiro olhou para Braga. E isso mostra a importância que nos reconhecem lá fora. Ainda vai haver o jornal nacional a passar em direto da nossa cidade no Domingo. Tristeza! Porque quem esteve cá dentro viu o que as câmaras não mostraram. No Sábado de Ramos, a procissão da chegada do Senhor fazia-se ao som de... techno. Bares a poucos metros do cortejo com a música a bombar, como se fosse uma noite qualquer de fim de semana. No Domingo de Ramos, com a cerimónia da manhã a decorrer, havia estendais de souvenirs montados na rua, como se a Catedral fosse cenário de uma feira. Durante as procissões do Ecce Homo e do Enterro do Senhor, momentos de recolhimento e silêncio, havia clientes de bares cá fora aos berros, de cerveja na mão, com música ligada. Ou dentro dos estabelecimentos a falar alto e com as luzes ligadas. Foram os próprios populares que tiveram de pedir silêncio. Na Sexta-Feira Santa, quando tudo deveria ser silêncio, ouviam-se provocações e gritos de "aleluia" em tom de troça.

O Senhor Arcebispo estava na procissão. O Senhor Presidente da Câmara e o executivo também. Todos viram. Todos sentiram. Nós não pedimos que a cidade pare. Pedimos que haja um mínimo de respeito, pela Catedral, pelas tradições, por quem vive aqui e por quem participa nas celebrações. A Sé Catedral de Braga é a mais antiga catedral de Portugal. É um monumento de valor inestimável. E o que se passou esta semana não é digno dela. Apelamos ao Município de Braga e às forças de segurança para que tomem medidas concretas, para que na próxima Semana Santa não tenhamos de escolher entre o orgulho e a tristeza. The wine bottle also throws a long shadow across the center of the pizza. On the far side of the table a fork is wrapped alone in a napkin. The pizza is oblong in shape with bubbly edges on the crust. The ref of tomato sauce and the white off the cheese is broken up by slices of meat and a single olive on each slice. The pizza is cut down the center and has four purpandicular cuts. Remember, the half on the right has been eaten.
