Today's Wednesday so it's Biscuits day yet again. A little less cohesive than I'd like today, probably a little drier than I should have made. I'm still making tiny adjustments to the by-heart recipe.

Time for a thread update. Monday it was a Sourdough Waffle day! These came out okay, just like always. Used butter for the pan grease instead of spray oil. #BreakfastBakes #MarieBakes

Monday's #BreakfastBakes was sourdough popovers but I failed to take any pictures. Today's was biscuits, using a different recipe because I wanted to give a variant a try. It isn't as cohesive as the usual one, I probably won't make it again. #MarieBakes

Yesterday was biscuits day again! I'm trying to play a little with the recipes that I've been using. The ratios on this batch went a little dry as well, but that might be down to the sourdough discard being a bit under hydrated. #MarieBakes #BreakfastBakes

Well, not all the #MarieBakes #BreakfastBakes can be winners. Couldn't remember my sourdough biscuit recipe from memory and found one that was questionable I guess. That and the partial-rye starter made these meh. Will try and find my good recipe next week. We were -2 people and I was eepy.

It's Wednesday again and it's biscuits day again. Pretty happy with these because I mis-measured some ingredients and recovered on the fly by adding what was needed to make it right. They came out well but less tangy than usual.
