Happy Imbolg Eve! I made bannock with rosemary, orange zest, and calendula. A piece of it, along with some scones, lots of butter, blackberry jam, and honey, are plated along with a small glass of milk, waiting for Brigid/Brìghde/Brigantia.

On Imbolg, I'll make a feast of salmon with roasted potatoes and peas, and set a plate for the Goddess. I'll do some drumming and singing, too, honoring her with songs about strong women. I'll also light a candle every day from Imbolg eve to Beltaine in her honor.

The landscape on the other hand is the East Yorkshire levels, viewed from the Wolds, where I was born.
