Bris leans against a table at The Last Stand in Old Sharlayan. She grins and holds a large rice ball. Alisaie sits on a stool near the table with a hand to her chin. She says, "You know, Brisingr, there's a question I've been meaning to ask you for a while now." Bris replies, "Ya caught me in a good mood thanks to the Last Stand making a might fine onigiri. So, what's on your mind?" Alisaie: "well..."

A shot now of Bris with very muted colors. Her eye is wide and her lip twitches upwards. Alisaie: "How come Yugiri calls you babygirl?"

Another shot further out. Bris now looks extremely annoyed and says, "Ok. How about we stop talking for a while?" Alisaie protests with a "But..." and in the other seat is Thancred, now leaning on the table and laughing hysterically while looking at Bris.

Bris has leapt onto the table, sword drawn, lunging towards Thancred with a wild look on her face. Bris: "I'm really gonna miss you, Thancred! What do you want your epitaph to say?!" Thancred: "Wait! Wait!"

Bris has now come up to Yugiri. Kiseki is sitting in Yugiri's lap, and they both look up at Bris. Bris's left hand is outstretched and touches Yugiri's cheek. Bris's thought bubble reads, "Yet, her little hands have never hesitated to hold what's left of mine. Her bright eyes never been afraid of my scars. And your smile..."

Bris has now pulled Yugiri and Kiseki into an embrace, her arm wrapped around Yugiri's shoulder. Another thought bubble next to Bris reads, "Once more, your smile saved me from myself. So I swear, no matter what, I'll make sure this one arm is equal to the four that hold it, that this one eye reflects the love in yours."

Bris gets a small reminder that she's worth it, after all.

Bris is walking down a street with a hand to her ear, having a linkpearl conversation. She says, "Of course I beat them, what did you expect? A couple of washed-up guys like that ain't even a challenge, Yaana." Yaana replies "Just don't get cocky."

A shot over Bris's shoulder, and Vamp Fatale is emerging from the gate in front of a house. Bris: "now what in the hells is going on here? Yaana, I'm gonna have to call you back." Yaana: "What's wrong?" Bris: "Vamp Fatale is in front of my house." Vamp appears to be thinking about something as she's walking.

Bris stands in front of Vamp and says, "Oi! Why are you skulking around my place? Surprised you're not on fire in the sun, pale as you are. Sore loser, coming to mess with my personal life?"

Vamp puts a hand on Bris's shoulder and gives her a smug look. Vamp: "Pfffttt. Heh. You're worried about the wrong heavyweight, little kitty. But you needn't concern yourself, I'm taking my leave."

Ok I'm late and have missed other prompts but who cares, this idea struck me for Day 22: Fatale, and I won't apologize for it.

A shot of a basket of flowers. Next to it blooms a golden flower of light. The unidentified speaker now appears to be sitting as we see part of their robe on the ground. They continue speaking, "But then, Alphinaud's son comes over and tells me how excited he is to be like his aunt. And not long ago, Shtola figured out how to open the rift again. So, Ryne and Gaia come to dinner every week. They talk to me about how the First is recovering. That's your legacy. I want to hear so much more."

A further out shot now. We see a grave with crossed swords. Beneath the crossed swords is a framed photo of Bris, but her hair is all white. She wears no eye patch, but she smiles wide. The person sitting in front of her grave has au ra horns beneath a mourning veil. they say "And then, Alisaie will come over. She always manages to find a new story about her travels to tell me. Lamaty'i comes by with Gulool Ja sometimes. You really made an impression on those two."

We now see the speaker's face as she has removed her veil: it is Yugiri. She's sad and looks to the side as she says, "As much as I want to be with you, Brisingr, my love, I want to see the world they build by the path your silhouette left them. So please, can you wait for me just a little longer?" Just behind her, someone else can be see standing wearing an orange robe and with rainbow scales on their hands.

The sukeban version of Yotsuyu stands in front of a door. She has a notepad and quill in her hands, and she's also got her pipe. She's looking at the notepad and says, "All right, sorry for barging in, but you two idiots are the only ones who haven't submitted your club expense reports so -- "

Same shot but Yotsuyu is now looking up with a frown, narrowed eyes and furrowed brow.

A shot from over Yotsuyu's shoulder. In the middle of the room, we see sukeban Bris on all fours with an ab roller in her hands. She's wearing a green track suit and black shoes. Yugiri, in purple pajama pants and a purple tank top, is sitting on Bris's back, holding her ears. Neither of them appear to be aware of Yotsuyu yet. Bris says, "I still don't get what of my training this is supposed to help me with. So --" and Yugiri says, "Last I checked, motorcycles just rev. Now, less talk and more purring like a well-tuned engine. So --"

Yugiri and Bris have now realized they have company. Yugiri has her hands to her chest and appears to be gasping. Bris's ears are flattened and her eyes are wide and mouth open. The shout in unison "OI! THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!" and "VICE-PRESIDENT?! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Yotsuyu replies, "You know what? Never mind. I'll leave the paperwork here, and I'm going back to my dorm room for a stiff drink. Just fill out when you're done with...whatever this is."

Vice-Prez gets a little more than she bargained for entering without knocking first.

An interior shot of a school. Although partially out of frame, Bris can be seen bowing to a teacher behind a desk. Kiseki leans against the desk, facing away from the teacher. Her arms are crossed and she is rolling her eyes with an annoyed expression. Bris: "I'm very sorry. You're right, it ain't acceptable behavior. We'll talk to her about this. It won't happen again." Kiseki: "...ugh. So pathetic..." Bris: "c'mon, kiddo. Let's go have a chat."

It is now a shot of Bris and Kiseki sitting on a bench. Bris's face can't be seen but her hair is much shorter with gray streaks in it. Kiseki has her hands by her face and is shouting, "I don't get it! All you ever do is bow and apologize! It's embarrassing! I thought you were the Warrior of Light! You saved the star over and over! Your job was keeping them safe! Shouldn't they be bowing to you? After everything you did? I always hear stories about how you were a hero! So why don't you act like it instead of just saying sorry all the time?!"

We see Bris's face now. She has faint wrinkles. Instead of an eyepatch over her left eye, a shaded monocle sits. She looks at Kiseki and says, "Oi, that how you think a hero is supposed to act? That everyone just owes them? That how you felt when you knocked that kid's lights out?" Kiseki: "...n-no...I..." Bris: "Listen, Kiseki. Everything I ever do will be looked over. Tabloids pick it up. When I'm dead and gone, historians will argue about me, and whether I was right or wrong in the stuff I did. Ya ain't gotta like it. Kami know I don't. But, if I lose my temper, the whole star will know about it by dinner. And if I don't apologize when my daughter is busting skulls at school? What kinda message is that? And another thing: being the Warrior of Light ain't my job, never was. Just a role I fulfilled. It's one yer big sister Alisaie has now. My job is to be your mother. Which is why instead of soaking in my favorite hot springs, I'm here picking you up and getting yelled at by both a teacher and my girl. So, we're gonna go home, and we're all gonna talk about this."

A shot of Bris and Kiseki from the front. Bris is patting Kiseki on the head, and she's looking down in annoyance with both fists clenched. Bris's ears are flattened and she looks very concerned. Bris: "But first...help me think of a gift to get your mom on the way back. We gotta butter Yugiri up a lil bit, or she's gonna go through the roof." Kiseki: "H-Hey! Don't pat my head! I'm not a little kid! But...you're right. Mama is gonna be pissed. Maybe we should call Aunt Yotsu first? Or flowers?" Bris: "Kiddo, the only place the flowers are gonna go is my grave since I'm the one who showed you how to throw that left hook..."

Day 15 of Miqo March is "Job/Role" and Bris gets to have a very long chat with her daughter about the topic.

Inside a building in Ishgard, Bris leans against a table. Alphinaud is seating next to her. Across from her, Aymeric gestures towards Estinien, who has his arms crossed. Aymerica says, "And seeing as you're like to have encounters with our reptilian adversaries, you'll need some help. Allow me to introduce Estinien Wyrmblood, Azure Dragoon."

Bris puts her left hand to her cheek and looks away in thought. Bris: "Well, what in the hells am I supposed to do with him? Alphinaud, what do you think?" Alphinaud: "Huh? Me?! I...confess, I'm not sure what you mean. He's a dragoon." Bris: "I'm not stupid, Alphinaud! I know what a dragoon is! I'm asking why they're trying to give me one."

Aymeric also now has a hand to his chin in confusion as he tries to discern Bris's meaning. Estinien looks a bit shocked. Aymeric: "...give you a what?" Bris: "you said 'as your dragoon.'" Estinien: "No! Azure Dragoon!"

Bris now looks annoyed and angry. Her ears are perked straight up and she holds out a hand. She yells, "Oi! That's what I just said!" Alphinaud, from off screen, says "Oh, dear. Maybe I should fetch Tataru..."

Day 14 of Miqo March: Azure, and Bris's accent is causing a communication breakdown. (also I hate messing with lighting in the interior of Ishgard buildings)

Bris trudges forward at the end of the Amaurot dungeon. Behind her, her allies are collapsed, but she presses forward. Her posture is exhausted, and she isn't even carrying her sword - simply dragging it behind her as she moves on.

A shot now in a yard. Bris is leaned against a tree and passed out, taking a nap. Just barely in the background, Yugiri is visible at the gates. Shouting dialogue boxes overlap with each other as several voices call out "Miss Amur! Miss Amur! Just a quick statement!" "Is it true the Scions of the Seventh Dawn disbanded?!" "Please, just one question for the Kugane Daily Gazette!" Over them all, Yugiri shouts, "HEY!"

Yugiri stands now in front of a pack of reporters and paparazzi. She looks furious and her arms are crossed in front of her. The reporters are taking notes and pointing off-screen towards Bris. Yugiri says, "If you wake her up, the only things getting printed are your obituaries. Now, kindly remove yourself from my presence!"

Another free day for Miqo March Day 12. This time, it's the "Guardian" prompt. The Warrior of Light has been protecting the star, but who protects her?

At the Dotharl village, Sadu can be seen suplexing another member of her tribe as she shouts, "So you thought you could cheat against me and get away with it! Never!" She slams him into a table next to a game board. In the background, Gosetsu and Yugiri seem shocked while Bris pumps her fist in the air and shouts "That's right! Show 'em who's boss!"

A closer shot now of Gosetsu, Bris and Yugiri. Bris is gesturing in the direction of Sadu. Gosetsu scratches his head and says, "I just do not understand it, Mistress Brisingr. Her?" Bris replies, "You're just gonna have to trust me on this one, Gosetsu. She's the kinda woman you wanna keep." Yugiri is lost in thought, with a a thought-style dialogue box next to her reading, "My how...violent. Is this truly the kind of ally we --"

A closer shot now of Yugiri and Bris. Bris is still looking off-screen at Gosetsu and gesturing towards Sadu. Yugiri however now looks quit irritated and says "She's the kind of woman you what?"

Bris is now stumbling forward and falling with a wide-eyed, surprised and pained expression on her face. Her ears are perked and her left arm flails. Yugiri is delivering a kick to the back of Bris's knee as she yells, "Next time, you can keep those comments to yourself, Lady Bris!" Bris only shouts in pain as she stumbles.

Behind her are the mountains of the Azim Steppe as dusk descends. The sky is a purplish color with the faint tinges of sunset orange as the stars begin to peek out.

Bris and Yugiri are indoors in lounge wear. Yugiri has a sweater and pajama pants, Bris has a housecoat-style top and pajama pants. Yugiri is rubbing her arms and looks at Bris, saying, "It's freezing in here, Bris. Can't we turn up the heat?" Brus shrugs and looks back, replying "You're always such a baby in the winter. Bet you're just gonna have to wait. I already started a fire, and the kotatsu ain't ready yet."

Yugiri has now crept up closer to Bris, and she's got her hands hidden inside the back of Bris's housecoat. Yugiri: "I'm afraid I can't wait that long, so let me just steal a bit of your warmth." Bris: "Oi! Don't you dare! Let's not be hasty! Yugiri! Keep your hands off me!"

Yugiri and Bris from just the shoulders up. Yugiri is smiling sweetly, and Bris has a blank look on her face. But Bris's colors are inverted. The moment has arrived as she feels the chill of Yugiri's hands.

Bris now with her arm up and head tilted back as she screams, mouth wide open. An insert panel of Yugiri is visible with a self-satisfied smirk and a small dialogue box reading, "Ahh, that's much better. You're such a sweetheart."

I actually have one ready at a decent time today so it's Day 8 of Miqo March: Warmth.

Bris's lizard doesn't do well in the wintertime, but she does know exactly where to get the heat.

Bris's face is sticking out of a shrub, and she looks very annoyed. Her eye is narrowed and her lips are curled in a bit of a snarl. She says, "Oi. How long did you say I'm supposed to stay like this again?"

From a different angle we still see Bris's face sticking out of part of a shrub, but now Feo Ul is hovering behind the bush. They look down at Bris and say, "Well, let's see. If you want to grow strong and true, then at least until you take root!" Bris: "Feo Ul, when I get outta here, you're really gonna be in for it." Feo Ul: "My, oh my, such hostility towards your branch. I guess I'll just have to keep you in there forever then, my adorable sapling!"

So why...why does she look like she just discovered something about herself...?"

We now see Bris is held in some sort of headlock by Yugiri. The shot is close and cropped so most of Yugiri's face is off-screen except for her devious grin. Bris's hair is down but her ears are perked and her mouth open slightly. Her left is closed as usual despite no eyepatch but her right eye is slightly widened as it looks straight ahead with a bit of surprise. The rest of Bris's body is not visible, blocked by Yugiri's arms as she holds Bris in this lock. Yugiri is wearing a chestwrap so all the scales along her arms and neck are visible.

MiqoMarch Day 5 is a free day and I thought about skipping it but I made this stupid thing originally just for me to laugh at the other night so I'll share it instead.

A shot now of Minfilia having walked in the room. She clasps her hands to her chest and looks towards Bris and Yugiri. Minfilia says, "Ah, Lady Yugiri, Lady Brisingr. I needed to ask yo - oh my." Yugiri replies, "Oh, good day to you, Lady Minfilia."

A shot again of Bris and Yugiri. Yugiri is still standing behind Bris with her right hand on Bris's hip. In her left, she guides and stretches Bris's left arm. Yugiri: "Lady Brisingr and I were just completing some training." Bris: "I still don't understand how this is supposed ta help..."

Minilia now has her hands steepled in front of her face as she gives a sly, smug smirk at the other two. Minfilia: "Oh, I do believe this is the beginning of something wonderful." Yugiri: "L-Lady Minfilia?!" Bris: "...oi, what's with that weird expression...?"

Behind them, Yugiri and Thancred are still visible, and Tataru stands slumped slightly on the other side of Yugiri. Estinien: "This isn't working." Bris: "You keep throwing rock!" Estinien: "Of course I keep picking rock, I'm not a wimp! But so do you!" Bris: "Do I look like a wimp to you, Estinien?!" Estinien: "Oh, forget it. Same time, Brisingr?"
