Buzzing after speaking at my first @britsoci.bsky.social conference! 3 days of brilliant talks by inspiring sociologists from across disciplines. Loved sharing my research on social media and contemporary Muslim life – and diving into the big questions about social transformation! #britsoc25
Thank you to all the amazing @britsoci.bsky.social staff for putting on such a lovely event this year! #britsoc25
highly recommend a tour of Chetham’s Library for folks still in Manchester. It’s the oldest surviving public library in Britain, in continuous use for over 350 years, where Marx and Engels met, read and worked together in 1845. You can read (copies of) the books they read in situ! #britsoc25
Had a great time at #britsoc25 - many fab papers on futures, subjectivity and/in space, creative methods +++

It was good to present findings from our ongoing research about the impact of the Cost-of-Living Crisis on HE Students at the annual @britsoci.bsky.social
conference in Manchester. The minimum students deserve is political representation and for their issues to be heard and addressed. #britsoc25
