I expect #BrokenLight isn't the typical place to start with @joannechocolat.bsky.social but I had a great time reading it. This thought-provoking novel treats menopause and friendship with the complexity they deserve, and resonates with chats I've had with female friends as we all get a tad older.

These are what I picked up yesterday. Am a bit in Harris Overload at the mo. And that makes me smile. My first of her's was #BrokenLight. Right book at the precice right time in my life. Was going through Trauma Therapy. And a lotta good it did me. Both book and Therapy!
Finished my first love of @joannechocolat.bsky.social's writings and it was just as good, if not better the 2nd time round. #BrokenLight is right up there in my list of all time favoured tales.

Have yet to encounter that one. I am dillegently working my way through Ms. Harris's books on a as published scheme. Her #BrokenLight was my first and since then I have been entranced by all her offerings.
