#BronyTravelTips #7: For those driving to #PVCF25, it's best to know where things like gas (or EV charging) stations are. If your ride is more than two hours and you have a friend, share the ride. Also, AAA still does maps if you don't believe your GPS!
#BronyTravelTips #6: Traveling to #PVCF25 by train or bus? The Milwaukee Intermodal Station is just 0.6 miles from the Hyatt. Amtrak also connects between the Intermodal and MKE airport as well as Chicago Union Station.
#BronyTravelTips: On a side, you may add your driver’s license to Apple Wallet if you live in AZ, CA (mDL pilot), CO, GA, HI, IA, MD, MT, NM, ND, OH, PR, and WV. #PVCF25
#BronyTravelTips #5: Apple recently introduced a Digital ID which allows users to make an ID using info from their passport. This is not a substitute for a physical passport, nor can it be used for int’l travel according to Apple. #PVCF25
#BronyTravelTips #4: Give yourself at least a two-hour window between connecting flights if you’re not flying nonstop to the destination.
Delays may happen with the first flight. Allow time between flights in case that happens. Chances are you’re not a sprinter.

If you book with a third party (i.e. travel pricing sites) and there’s an issue, the airlines will tell you that you have to go the third parties as they hold the contract of carriage. #PVCF #BronyTravelTips
#BronyTravelTips #3: NEVER BOOK FLIGHTS WITH A THIRD PARTY!!! Always book directly with the supplier (i.e. the airline).
Reason: Airlines have a contact of carriage which obligates them to get you to your destination. If there’s an issue, you can go to them. (cont’d)

#BronyTravelTips #2: Check the weather for next Wednesday and Thursday for Milwaukee (and/or Chicago) as well via local media.

Attention #PVCF25 attendees:
#BronyTravelTips will not be at @ponyvilleciderfest.com , but I can give tips here.
The first of these is to check your flight status well in advance if you’re coming in either to MKE or ORD next Wednesday or Thursday.
Sadly, my #BronyTravelTips panel did not make the cut for #PVCF24, but I can share some pointers here. The first of which is check the weather for Milwaukee next weekend. Either through local channels or through The Weather Channel.
