The baseline truth is that animals are not lesser beings to him.
To him they are:
- Honest, transpent
- Unmasked, no pre-tenses
- Aligned with their nature entirely

Ohh boy, I had a lot of time to think about this one, and this is a triad. The overlap is between a few scions:

BLOOD ORANGE:
Why? touches up on him nicely: Sweet + sharp + metallic edge.
It's got a bite to it, with a slight bitterness and an almost wine-like, iron-like edge.

Ah istrault doesn’t heal like a normal person; it’s not that he can’t heal but he won’t since his healing healths aggressively ( snd to some there is a chance for dependency). So modern medicines, apothecary or those of the far east involving the meridians.

He normally sleeps better (the best ) when Samhita is near him. She kinda is the “ stuffed animal” and blanket, she’s about 700 ponzes of opinions, she’s also a great weight blanket - that judges you and calls you out frequently.

Those hairs are important on his body -since while thicker they help him with vibrations and his electrolocation. They're like his cat whiskers to sense the world.

🤔 I thought about body jewelry for Istrault but issue now is - a cause of extreme thermal output and bioelectrical output; metal not heat resistant will just melt, and with static the discharges might be painful - especially with Samhita. 🤔

Steady for starts, a quiet intensity hidden observation( giving you his full attention. Trust me, he's going to remember you). Slow to trust but once earned it's impossible to break. Gentle, but not afraid to sass you or tease you. Expect a lot of touching if he's comfortable with you.

STORMS:
Storms all together become a ritual between both Samhita and Istrault. For Samhita, storms become the familiar. When pressure drops , the charge air crawling aong her whiskers, the way lightning writes paths acros the sky before thunder arrives- she feels early.

Sad part is he doesnt or his aging halted aggressively ( longer life-span now - might be closer to nigh- immortal, like an actual "Elf"!). Never sits with him well from the start; sure he can see his kids-kids for ages - but than you see kids and people you know wither away.

Istrault is completely rural ( or broad) Australian accent, but it has some mix of Lominsian mixed in there for years on the sea. He abbreviates and contracts aggressively when he talks.

Istrault style is like that of a predator knowing restraint- it's built to end on his terms, not to put on a show. So it can look savage on the outside, there is a cold logic underneath. The worst you can get, if you survive, is a collapsed high cervical or thoracic nerve cluster.

Shit man has a lot of flaws here biggest I'd say is the fact
"He finishes things" as " Compresses meaning faster than people can live". He's so geared to survival that he ends up emotionally misaligned with his peers and friends around him. People are left out of the pace with him.
