Group of around 20 people standing outside a large green industrial building with โCLiCsโ signage, under a bright blue sky. The group includes men and women in business and smart-casual attire, arranged in a semi-line and facing the camera, smiling. The setting appears to be a working site, with a roller shutter door, a parked van, and covered materials visible nearby. The scene conveys a professional site visit or seminar gathering at the Centre for Low & Innovative Carbon Solutions (CLiCs), with a relaxed but purposeful atmosphere.
Richard Stanford, CEO of the Forestry Commission, stands indoors delivering a presentation, gesturing toward a large screen displaying slides about landscape, timber, and housing with the heading โWe can change.โ He is dressed in smart casual attire and appears engaged and mid-explanation. A desk beneath the screen holds a laptop and office materials, reinforcing a workshop or seminar setting. The image captures a moment of discussion focused on forestry, timber use, and low-carbon construction solutions.
Group of around 20 people standing inside the CLiCs workshop during a site tour, surrounded by timber frames, construction materials, and industrial equipment. The space is a large, open warehouse with high ceilings, metal structure, and bright overhead lighting. Attendees are dressed in a mix of business and casual attire, with one person in high-visibility clothing, reflecting the working environment. An Agile Homes banner is visible in the background. The group faces the camera, smiling, capturing a moment of collaboration and engagement within a live low-carbon construction setting.
Craig White, CEO of Agile Homes, stands indoors presenting in front of a large screen displaying the opening slide titled โBuilding Low-carbon Affordable Home Ecosystems.โ He is mid-gesture, speaking and facing the audience, with the slide showing a timber modular home and housing developments. Dressed in casual business attire, he appears engaged and explaining the concept. The setting is a seminar environment, capturing the start of a presentation focused on low-carbon housing, affordability, and innovative delivery models.

This picture shows a wooden structure consisting of a geometric design. It includes: 1. A triangular wooden birdhouse, complete with a circular opening in the middle. The triangular shape is supported by clean, straight edges, giving it a minimalist look. 2. A rectangular frame constructed from wooden slats, partially enclosing the triangular birdhouse. The frame has a grid-like structure with thin timber boards running vertically and horizontally, adding a sense of openness and balance. 3. The sculpture is displayed on a wooden base, with a natural outdoor scene visible through a window in the background. The scene includes trees, grass, and a slightly overcast sky. The design appears modern and architectural, combining functionality (possibly as a birdhouse) with artistic elements.
Weโre looking forward to a busy and innovative year ahead!

A lot of things came out of #COP29 in Baku.
They may not be enough to deal with accelerating climate change. One of the solutions is to do carbon capture & storage, but itโs very expensive.
Hereโs how we do it at Agile Homes.

This photo features a modern urban setting with a prominent insect hotel in the foreground, designed as a small house with a pitched roof. The structure is made of wood and filled with natural materials like logs and drilled wood pieces to provide habitats for insects. It sits within a landscaped garden area with shrubs, plants, and decorative foliage. Behind the insect hotel is a contemporary building with a glass faรงade, characterized by clean lines and reflections of trees and surroundings. The minimalist design of the building contrasts with the natural and rustic aesthetic of the insect hotel. A leafless tree adds to the composition, highlighting the season (likely winter or late autumn). The overall scene blends architecture, urban greenery, and ecological elements.
We were in Dublin earlier this week, talking low carbon affordable homes made from biobased materials.
Interesting contrast between the corporate headquarters behind and the insect hotel in the foreground.
One made with carbon, the other all embodied carbon!

At Agile we build all our homes with natural and renewable materials.
This allows us to do carbon capture & storage!
Nature does the capture, we do the storage.
We are turning the built environment into the planet's sixth carbon sink!

This is how we turn timber & straw into beautiful, affordable & sustainable architecture. This project for a school in Bath, UK, is a STEM centre, & the building is designed as a teaching & learning tool in its own right.
It stores 376 tonnes of CO2e!
