A red-whiskered bulbul perched on a tree branch, with a really wide, light brown tree trunk in the background. Green leaves frame both sides of the photo, some catching the sunlight. The bulbul has dark brown plumage on its back and white underparts. Its crest, head, and beak are black, with a distinctive red patch behind the eyes. A thin black streak runs from under the eyes down to the neck.
