Cyberdeck with a Bus Pirate (blue box with LEDs under), probing a ZS-02 DS3231 Real Time Clock module plugged into a breadboard (above)

So I was having trouble now getting the DS3231 ZS-02 module interfaced to the #cyberdeck... So I plugged the module into a #BusPirate (blue box with LEDs under the cyberdeck) and it's detected on an I²C bus scan. Seems there's more gremlins in the hardware. 🫩

- Faster. No more serial to parallel lag. Less traffic on the SPI bus shared with the NAND flash and LCD. The SPI traces are extremely short and tight
- More space. The Bus Pirate PCB is extremely crowded, we just removed two “huge” TSSOP chips.
