#CAROSAI shared experiences in facilitating #auditimpact, ensuring #SAIindependence, & partnerships w/ development partners. The Congress echoed that although many SAIs in Caribbean are small islands, they are not alone in the pursuit of accountability and good governance.

Ms. Brenda Neely, Acting Auditor General of the Bahamas, received a commemoration from #CAROSAI celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Office of the Auditor General of the Bahamas. She reflected on the importance of the regional collaboration between CAROSAI SAIs. #XIIICAROSAICongress

Ms. Andrea St. Rose, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean, shared opportunities to forge potential #collaborations with #CAROSAI and advance public financial management #PFM. #XIIICAROSAICongress

Mr. Hugo Freire, head of International Relations of #SAIBrazil, representing the INTOSAI Chair, spoke about the #ClimateScanner initiative, and how it is addressing an environmental dimension of #publicaudit, and its applicability to CAROSAI. He reflected on the participation from #CAROSAI SAIs.
