I wrote my first proper post on LinkedIn today. It was cheesy, bit of a weird thing to do.
Bottom line is I'm still buzzing from spending two days playing with napari sourounded by kind microscopy nerds at the #CBIAS2025 Napari Workshop.
Organisers of the Crick BioImage Analysis Symposium 2025
Organising symposia is a whole lot less work and more fun when you've got an enthusiastic group of fellow organisers to help out.
But #CBIAS2025 was my 6th and I think it's now time to step back a little.
So from next year, @lankylaste.bsky.social will be taking the lead.
Roll on #CBIAS2026!
THANK YOU ALL for making another edition of CBIAS so special! Stay tuned for next year’s dates, we look forward to seeing you all again soon

Back to reality after #CBIAS2025: two trainings today, a pile of analysis requests waiting in my inbox, and an experiment in a rush thanks to the pre-Christmas panic...
Had an amazing time at #CBIAS2025! I hope to be there for the next one!
Had a blast at #CBIAS2025! Great science (like the incredible ShapeEmbed talk from @afoix.bsky.social), amazing people and obviously tons of beautiful images :) Already looking forward to coming back next year!
Another brilliant #CBIAS2025. Now I know the rest of my week will be testing out all those cool new analysis tools!
Had a brilliant time at #CBIAS2025. Still not sure if I’m an intruder or a red panda, but I’ve definitely come back with lots of ideas for my users… and awesome stickers.
Had such a blast at #CBIAS2025 — a meeting full of image-analysis nerds (what more could you want?).
If you’d like to learn more about movement, the Python package I presented, my slides are live at neuroinformatics.dev/slides-movem...
It’s over too soon!
Heartfelt thanks to the organisers, speakers and attendees for a super cool two days!

Congratulations to @aafkegros.bsky.social for winning the Best Poster Award at #CBIAS2025! 🎉 Their Microscopy Nodes Blender plugin not only makes visualisation easier, but also shines as a brilliant link between computer vision, mathematics, and biology.
It was brilliant having the opportunity to chair this session at #CBIAS2025. Thank you to all the wonderful speakers discussing new tools for morphological analysis and event detection in microscopy 🔬
