إطلاق العمليات التجارية لمحطة البحر الأحمر لتداول الحاويات رقم 1 بميناء السخنة (فيديو) شهدت انطلاقة التشغيل التجاري لمحطة البحر الأحمر لتداول الحاويات رقم 1 في ميناء السخنة، مع وصول السفينة CMA CGM IRON التابعة للخط الملاحي العالمي CMA، محملة بـ 13 ألف حاوية. أكبر مشغلي الموانئ عالميًّا تقوم شركة هاتشيسون الصينية، المعروفة كواحدة من أكبر مشغلي الموانئ على المستوى العالمي، بتشغيل المحطة ضمن تحالف COSCO-CMA. يتم تطوير المحطة لتكون إحدى أكبر محطات الحاويات في جمهورية مصر العربية. يتم تنفيذ المشروع على مرحلتين، حيث تم بدء تشغيل المرحلة الأولى اليوم بطول رصيف يصل إلى حوالي 1.2 كيلومتر، بينما تصل المرحلة الثانية إلى 1.4 كيلومتر. تداول الحاويات في الموانئ المصرية وخاصةً ميناء السخنة تبلغ الطاقة الاستيعابية للمشروع 3.5 مليون حاوية مكافئة سنويًّا، وتستطيع المحطة استقبال سفن عملاقة تصل أطوالها حوالي 400 متر. يجسد هذا المشروع جهود الدولة لتوسيع تجارة الترانزيت وتداول الحاويات في الموانئ المصرية، خاصةً في ميناء السخنة، الذي يعد من أكبر الموانئ على البحر الأحمر ويمثل بوابة للعلاقات التجارية مع الأسواق الإفريقية والخليجية والآسيوية. تقدّم الحكومة الشكر لكل من يدعم هذه المشاريع الكبرى التي تضع مصر على خريطة النقل العالمية، كما تُشكر المسؤولين الحكوميين وشركاء النجاح من المستثمرين المحليين والأجانب.
