196 Vertragsstaaten und viele Vertreter*innen aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft sind vor Ort, um die Umsetzung der in Montreal verabschiedeten globalen Biodiversitätsziele voranzutreiben.

Vor zwei Jahren beschlossen die Staaten bei der COP15 in Montreal 23 Ziele und schufen damit einen Rahmen zum globalen Schutz der Biodiversität. Eines der wichtigsten hier formulierten Ziele ist das 30x30 Ziel - 30 % der Erdoberfläche sollen unter Schutz gestellt werden bis 2030.
