Sign on closed escalator. Supposed to be fixed by Fall 2024.

This Monroe red line escalator was shut down for repairs in February. For months the sign gave a completion date of 7/22/24 - recently changed to Fall 2024. WTF? Things like this reduce ridership. #CTAfails

I'm not going to O'Hare, thank God, because the next Blue Line train is in 20 minutes. And there are only 2 Forest Park bound trains showing, 8 & 15 minutes out, with the last train being OHare bound & 53 minutes our. #ctafails @ctaaction
