#Cubs lose to the Nationals 6-3 to take the Opening Series. Shota Imanaga gave up a three run homer in the first inning and the Cubs were not able to come back. Alex Bregman hit two home runs, Ian Happ hit one, but Hoby Milner gave up a 2 run homer in the 8th to put this one away

Good for the Nationals because that franchise has been struggling ever since their world series’ win back in 2019, but it’s hard not to be disappointed with the cubs opening set. Giving up 18 runs over a 3 game set at home just isn’t great
