Any Eorzean can tell it costs naught but one's own pride to keep their screaming howlers sealed if a blessing of godlike potential were to bequeath upon them. Unfortunately, pride is one such cost that is too great for dreamers who would dream too extravagantly for their own good. And at such a cost of a piece of history, now forgotten to time, these dreamers have indeed spent their pride, and lives being host to nightmares buried deep in Copperbell. For it is the selfsame pride, that had fated these men to their fate once word had merely begun to spread of their newly acquired luck, promising themselves riches. Such riches threatening the Syndicate's ire, and such ire enlisting "special" help... Wise, would be the next who spend sleepless nights after being shared the tale of the miners spending their last breaths, screams being stifled and choked, having their blessing forcibly removed from their gurgling gullets. Wise, however, would be none. For no such story exists.
