One of the reasons for Cain's general frustrations, is that he is able to read any language due to his skills, but he cannot speak them. So being trapped in a different dimension, he has had to deal with that barrier in language for awhile.

Yknow, I don't talk enough about my Cleric/Blood hunter, Cain. He is such a weird fella. A changeling pulled from his own dimension with his God, to a completely different world. Slowly he is trying to adapt and learn. He is a very expressive weirdo and I adore him.

An unfinished painting of Malcolm Whithaven. Only the arm and part of the face are filled in in grayscale, the rest is a messy sketch and signature. All of this is placed on a light green background for the time being.
The first draft of the original pose for this piece. Malcolm is holding out a zippo lighter with his left arm, slightly hunched over away from the camera. The plan was to have him either look over his shoulder or have his serpent look for him. He was also originally going to be wearing a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to above his biceps.
