A dream sequence representing Oz's desires and emotions. He's been holding onto the hope that his ex will come back to make him feel happy again, but as time passes, that hope turns into fear that it will never happen. Just when that fear is about to drown him, a lost friend arrives to save him instead. Ultimately, this reminds Oz of who he can really count on, and who isn't worth holding on to anymore.
My fave sequence from Story One. In context it's split into three parts throughout the 90+ page comic, but if you put it all together it plays out continuously.
