I made a vampire-themed social deduction #ttrpg using #caltropcore!
Its an idea I had for a while (couple of years) but pushed to the side until late last year when I started watching a lot of hidden role/social deduction stuff online.

imo #caltropcore is useful because quatrains are useful
21) You dont need new dice for each character you make.
You simply need one translucent set for each color on ROYGBIV, and then one glow-in-the-dark set, then a set for each type of dice pool system (d6s, d10s, and d4s because #CaltropCore rocks), then a set of funky custom dice with fun shapes-
iirc, SW//NG was the first time a #CaltropCore game was mentioned on a TTRPG news outlet! i think it was an article about superhero games?

tbh the community taught me game design. it was y’all that made games on #CaltropCore and showed me what was possible design-wise. and of course reading all sorts of games on all sorts of systems from yall showing what’s possible beyond 5e

i will say shoutout to the dtrpg publisher outreach employee who asked for #caltropcore to be uploaded on the platform so they could run a game jam. as it's a free product, i was happy to give more people access! i'm sure there are wayward CC games over there that i have no idea exist
