As of the completion of our ceremony (it's not just ours) in a couple hours? We will be citizens of Aotearoa. Today is also my 16-year anniversary of completing treatment for cancer, and being declare NED (No Evidence of Disease). But wait, there's more! Yesterday was the anniversary of Laura and her sister Sara arriving for the first time in the U.S. and adoptees. Here we are, down the hill from the DOC hut, after hiking the Cape Brett Track. You know what? Life is good. Yes. Yes, it is.
