Even the simplest tasks, like changing a lightbulb can make a world of difference for an older person. Recently, we helped an older man who had been without light in his bathroom for a week. When we replaced the bulb, he was overjoyed to finally shower and shave again.

Basket repair for the win! Keeping your processions in use longer to rebel against capitalism. I wound fabric and thread over the areas where bits had broken off. Simple and quick.

Duplicate Stitch/Swiss Darning a handknit wool sock for my husband. It's always nice to darn socks when the stitches have thinned, but have not broken through yet. It's so neat and tidy.
