Walking, wandering, and wondering. Looking and seeing. I love a walk with no destination or reason. I spend so much time sitting as I work (making textile art), so these walks do actually have a purpose.

Pretty quiet day in Carnamah yesterday. Working in the studio, chatting with gallery visitors, walking everywhere. Final week feelings.

Today's residency moment. I went to a school to teach hand-sewing to a delightful and appreciative group of children. The North Midlands Project transported me there in style!

I'm back. Here for 4 weeks as artist in residence. I've dropped some donations into the op shop, set up my studio, shopped hungry at the supermarket, and been for a walk around town.
The two people I saw out and about knew my name, and I knew theirs.
