A pair of soras in a marsh. The one of the left has its wings spread and appears to be jumping or flying a short distance from the water over to a small branch. There is a depression in the water and a splash of water coming up from where it took off. The other one is standing over to the right looking at the other one. The birds are grey underneath and brown on top with short bright yellow bills and a black mark between the bill and eye. They are in a marsh with a lot of and marsh grasses.
