The land on which Carrington is built was annexed in two phases: south of 144 Avenue in 1989, and north of 144 Avenue in 2007
Construction began in 2017, and the community remains under development today.

Yesterday, we completed walking all of the publicly accessible, occupied residential streets in #Carrington.
In the process, we covered a distance of 21.74 kilometres.
This marks the 179th #Calgary community that we have now completed.

Again, the satellite image implies that nothing has been built on these streets yet, when in fact there are mostly completed homes with people living in them. However, we did encounter some construction today.
