The story was important for me finding out I am actually not straight but bi. I had a good friend, she hurt me really bad and we stopped talking and I couldn’t let it go, I was obsessed and it felt very similar to whatever Simon felt, when Baz didn’t show up.

Simon and Baz are just adorable and Penny is a star.
The worldbuilding and especially the way magic works through words and phrases really speaks to me. I totally believe in the power of words and songs.
